Real Madrid's captain Iker Casillas released an statement on his personal Facebook account to deny lack of commitment with José Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo, among others.

Casillas has been criticized by Real Madrid fans due to his apparent lack of commitment with Mourinho, Cristiano Ronaldo and some other teammates. The Spanish goalkeeper hasn't started the season well. In the first game of the Liga BBVA, Valencia was able to tie the game thanks to a mistake by Casillas in Tino Costa's cross. Even though Casillas has never been great in the aerial game, he's been struggling with it even more throughout this beginning of the season. If he was at his best, he could've saved both Manchester City goals and the one Ajax scored off a corner-kick.

This is Iker Casillas' statement:

During these past few months, I've been involved in a couple of things... They say I don't celebrate my team's goals (those who know me are aware of how screwed I am when I believe I could've saved the other teams' goals). Some others say that I don't support my teammate Cristiano (when I'm a big fan of his game). Other reports say I'm leaking club's information (I've been in the biggest club for 13 years and even though I know every journalist, to say this is not appropriate). And yet, some people say Mou and I can't get along (if there's someone I respect that's him, he's brought the club back to the winning streak). One more. Some say that I have an spanish flag hanging from my balcony, and that's my neighbor's flag.

So, I hope things start to go better football-wise. That's what I want. Remember, I esteem you!

As always, let's hope the team starts talking about football. And also, let's hope Casillas turns to his former self.
