Karim Benzema turns 25 years old today. He still has a lot of potential and room to improve, but, when in shape, he's one of the best strikers in the world. For reasons unknown, he's yet to be the team's starter in the center forward position, and that's why he still hasn't completed a full season at his best level.
Karim Benzema has been in Real Madrid for more than three seasons now, and it's obvious that 2011-2012 was his best campaign with the club. He scored 32 goals, but he also played great alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese star is very comfortable with Benzema on the pitch. His ability to move to the wings to create space in the center for his teammates is certainly important for the team.
He's been elected as the best French player in 2012, and he surely has enough quality to be a key player in this club.
