Real Madrid To Face Manchester United In Champions League's Round of 16

Mourinho and Ferguson will play against each other once again as Steve McManaman determined the outcome of the draw by pairing United and Real Madrid. Also, Cristiano Ronaldo will surely be cheered in Old Trafford, probably more than what he is cheered these days in the Santiago Bernabéu. Even though Manchester United is not in great shape right now, the British team will surely provide a tough challenge for los blancos.

Remember Redondo's trick against United on the road of the 8th Champions League for Real Madrid? Well, other players will need to step it up this time if Mourinho's team wants to advance to the next round, because Manchester United is a very dangerous opponent.

Real Madrid finished the Group Stage as a runner-up, and that means the first game of the tie against Fergie's boys will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu. Old Trafford isn't an easy place to win in, so it'd be good to do our homework soon and have a clean sheet in the first game.

One way or another, the team will need to improve its current performances. There's a long way to go until February, but United's competitiveness will surely be there.

Any thoughts?
