Real Madrid and the Turkish club have officially announced the transfer of Hamit Altintop. Neither club has revealed the price, but sources understand that Galatasaray will pay around 2M€ to Real Madrid while the player's salary in his new club will be close to 4M€ a year.
Hamit Altintop joined Real Madrid as a free agent and didn't want to receive any money in his first months while he was recovering from a back injury. It's true that his role on the team wasn't big, but all things considered, Altintop was a good addition to the club.
