Real Madrid's 2012-2013 has officially started its preseason with physical tests and work with Coach José Mourinho. Even though Ricardo Carvalho and Fernando Gago did not participated in any of those training sessions, the Portuguese coach was still able to work with Ángel Di María, Gonzalo Higuaín, Kaká, Nuri Sahin, Esteban Granero, José Callejón, Lass and Raphäel Varane.
Tuesday afternoon the Argentinian striker and Real Madrid's third captain, Gonzalo Higuaín, spoke to the media in Valdebebas' press room, where he confirmed that he will stay with Real Madrid, thanks to the support of fans, his teammates and his coach.
During the season, I focused on Real Madrid only. Mourinho sat with me, just like my family and my teammates, and they all gave me strength to continue on.
I'm going to fight just like the first day I came here. I have no regrets. I hope to accomplish many dreams this year, like winning the Champions League. I have tons of passion to win more titles.
