Check me (Gabe) out on the Sounder at Heart Podcast, Nos Audietis
I made a brief, and very fun, cameo on the fantastic podcast Nos Audietis, courtesy of the authors of Sounder At Heart, SBNation's Seattle Sounders blog. (And quickly, if you haven't heard of Sounder At Heart, well, you should have. They're one of my few favorite soccer blogs on the internets (you all know of my love of We Ain't Got No History, as well), and they feature some of the best MLS writing out there. Plus, their community is welcoming and the authors are awesome. So yeah, if you're looking desperately for an MLS side, check out SAH). I come on towards the end of the show--which, incidentally, is very well produced and hosted (and hey, you can find them on iTunes!)--around minute 40 to talk about Joan Verdú, the captain of Espanyol. Apparently, Seattle is making a very sizable bid for Verdú; if he were to sign, it would be a huge moment for MLS, as he would be the first world class player to jump to America in the prime years of his career. It's a very interesting situation, so check it out!
