After a long summer break with nothing but International football to amuse us the league opener has arrived!
Real Madrid will meet Valencia CF at 19:00 CET (1:00 PM EST) at the Santiago Bernabéu. Good luck to our players.

Casillas, Ramos, Pepe, Coentrao, Arbeloa, Alonso, Diarra, Ronaldo, Di Maria, Higuain and Ozil
Valencia-
Alves, Ruiz, R. Costa, Mathieu, Pereira, A. Costa, Gago, Guardado, Feghouli, Soldado, Jonas
No big suprises for Madrid. I'm assuming Khedira is nursing a minor knock or is otherwise being rested. I won't read much more into Higuain's selection, other than that he has (to my eye) looked sharper than Benzema in preseason.
