Cristiano Ronaldo didn't celebrate his two goals against Granada. That's not very big news, but he decided to talk to the media after the game. When asked whether he was sad about the UEFA Player of the Year Award, Ronaldo had this to say:

Maybe I didn't celebrate the goals because I'm sad. It's a professional matter. No, it's not about that, there are more important things. The club knows why, I'm not going to say anything else.

That's the exact quote. But some journalists reported that he was sad with some people at the club instead. Now, maybe that's what he meant, but it's not what he said.

Journalists in Spain are speculating about Cristiano wanting to leave the club. They say Cristiano doesn't feel comfortable in the locker room anymore. That's probably not true, but that's Cristiano Ronaldo's fault. He shouldn't have gone to the media to speak about his professional issues. If he wants a new contract, that's fine, but the media will not talk about anything else the next 15 days without a Real Madrid match.

Cristiano Ronaldo should know better than this.
