Milan's CEO Adriano Galliani announced later Monday that Milan's bid to bring Kaká is over due to problems with his current contract, taxes and revenues in Spain. It seems that Real Madrid will never be able to get Kaká's salary off the books.
Unless any other team makes an offer before January 31st, Kaká will spend the rest of the season in Real Madrid. Adriano Galliani said that there were some troubles with Kaká's contract that couldn't be solved by Milan, so the Italian team pulled away.
