Denis Doyle

Real Madrid will try to earn a needed win at the Martínez Valero.

Real Madrid Starting XI: Diego López, Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrão, Khedira, Modrić, Di María, Isco, Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema.

Elche Starting XI: Manu Herrera; Damián Suárez, Botía, Lombán, Albacar; Carlos Sánchez, Javi Márquez, Rubén Pérez; Carles Gil, Del Moral; Coro.

Ancelotti has decided to start Fàbio Coentrao again. Other than that, Real Madrid will start the match with the usual lineup. Illarramendi stays on the bench, leaving the midfield to Khedira, Isco and Modric. Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and Di María start upfront while Arbeloa, Ramos and Pepe will pair up with Coentrao in the defensive line. Ancelotti doesn't want to rest any important player before the key derby against Atlético Madrid that will be played this Saturday (22:00 CET).

Varane stays on the bench, meaning that Nacho will be watching the game from the stands.
