Real Madrid will make their debut in the semifinals of the FIFA Club World Cup on Tuesday, at 20:30 CET, against the Mexican team Cruz Azul. The match was scheduled to take place in the Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah, in Rabat. where the quarterfinals between Cruz Azul and WS Wanderers were held yesterday.
However, as Morocco World News are reporting, FIFA are considering to move this game to the Grand Stadium in Marrakech, due to bad conditions of the grass in Rabat's stadium. The heavy rain that fell last night in Rabat and other parts of Morocco made the pitch look like a swimming-pool at some areas, and playing football there was extremely hard (pictures can be checked here).
According to the same report, FIFA are analyzing all the factors involved before reaching a final decision. Los Blancos, who will travel to Morocco today, will not likely know where their debut will be held before landing.
