Today's not Valentines Day. It's also Transfer Talk Day, apparently. Real Madrid have been linked to PSG forward Edinson Cavani and Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal on the exact same day. And it's still February.
According to Marca, Real Madrid would be keen on signing Arturo Vidal next summer. The main target to add some depth to the midfield was Ilkay Gündogan, but the German has not played a single game since last September with back problems. Therefore, Ancelotti would have his eyes on the Chilean box-to-box midfielder.
But still, Arturo Vidal signed a new contract with Juventus recently and has stated many times -even today- that he wants to stay with the bianconeri. And he wouldn't be cheap either. While Gündogan's contract is finishing on 2015 and Borussia Dortmund would rather sell him than watch him go free -see Lewandowski, Robert-, Vidal's transfer fee should be around 50M€.
Vidal is a great player, sure, but I'd rather spend that much money on another Juventus midfielder. He is French and wears number 6.
