Cadena COPE reported some days before the UEFA Supercup that Iker Casillas was going to start that match, and so he did. Now, the same radio station believes that Real Madrid's captain will play the Liga BBVA and the UEFA Champions League, meaning that Keylor Navas will only get the Copa del Rey, according to Miguel Ángel Díaz.
This would be a strange decision by Carlo Ancelotti, especially after signing one of the World Cup's greatest goalkeepers —if not the best—. That said, Keylor Navas' good attitude would guarantee no turmoil around Ancelotti's choice, and the Costa Rican will still be able to impress in the Copa del Rey. For instance, he should have some minutes against Fiorentina this Saturday.
There's no need to say that Ancelotti can still change his mind if he sees Navas' form much better than Casillas, but for the moment Keylor would not play a single match before December.
