- Real Madrid's reported interest on José Luis Gayà is, naturally, getting a lot of attention from the press, and so new information is being available on a daily basis. Marca have published today some quotes from a conversation with Francisco Rufete, Valencia's sports director, who claims that they have been working on Gayà's contract extension for a month and that they hope to close the deal soon enough.
- Our daily dose of don't-know-how-substantiated transfer rumors features Chicharito Hernández, who is, according to Marca, under Lazio's radar and could be interested on flying to Italy to get more playing time, and Yayá Touré, who, according to Il Giornale, is in both of Real Madrid's and Inter's wish lists.
- If one has to remember today's training session for a reason, it's definitely because it has been Ødegaard's first one as a Real Madrid player, but that's not its only matter of interest. According to As and Marca, Pepe is already running and will likely be ready in three weeks and, although, Lucas Silva is already prepared to get some game action, Ancelotti has tried a 4-4-2 with Kroos, Illarramendi, James and Isco in the midfield, with Bale and Benzema upfront, to face Real Sociedad on Saturday.
