Question Of The Week: Has Cristiano Ronaldo Matured As A Player?

Greetings from the land of sand. This is the weekly segment here on Managing Madrid where I walk around my international campus and ask random people of different backgrounds and football loyalties questions about the footballing world and Real Madrid.

When la Liga started up again, we were all looking forward to seeing our favorite teams, as well as our favorite players, in action. And we have been happily appeased by the majority of the squad (except a certain German wonder kid) who have been taking to the field and showing us their immense talent.

But one Real Madrid star actually didn't become a super nova at the beginning (surprise surprise), which is quite a feat. Cristiano Ronaldo, unarguably one of the most talented players in modern football, has been showing us many aspects of his game, and it's not all goals.

At the start of this season, I among many others, saw Ronaldo making some selfless passes and giving another a chance at goal. Yes, he's had his hat-trick, but Cristiano has been making an effort to give his other teammates opportunities to shine.

So the Question of the Week is this: Do you believe Cristiano Ronaldo has matured more as a player? (This question is courtesy of my friend Mustafa).

"I believe Ronaldo has matured as a player. He's been giving more players that chance to score."

-Mustafa, Egypt

"Yeah, he's obviously more mature now because some players are almost as good as him."

-Nadim, Lebanon

Yes, yes, you can tell that Nadim is Barca fan but I try to get all perspectives, no matter how convoluted.

"I believe he has matured greatly. He has many passes compared to last year. I believe he has more assists. But he is still the cocky player..."

-Phillip, Lebanon

Okay, so not many Madrid fans had a chance to answer this one, so let's salvage some pride madridistas and support our superstar! Leave your answers below or just take a vote in the poll. Hala Madrid!
