Greetings from the land of sand. This is the weekly segment here on Managing Madrid where I walk around my international campus and ask random people of different backgrounds and football loyalties questions about the footballing world and Real Madrid.

If you were not aware, Barcelona's shocking loss to Getafe 0-1 on Saturday now leaves a six-point gap between them and league leaders Real Madrid.

The question this week: How important is that gap between Madrid and Barca?

"It’s not a huge lead for the middle of the season, but it’s definitely a very good lead to have."

-Omar, Egypt

"Six points is nothing. This doesn’t mean anything. It’s hard to decide who will win right now. You have to wait and see."

-Mustafa, Egypt

"If Barca lose one more game than it’s over."

-Phillip, Lebanon

"It’s not a big deal. This happens but Barca always has a comeback."

-Nadim, Lebanon

So what do you think? Of course, it still is very early into the season and anything can happen, but with the Clasico inching closer, this gap could prove very helpful to a certain team in white.
