Hey madridistas! It's time to soldier on, as Real Madrid travel to Ponferrada today to take on Segunda B side Ponferradina in the first round of the Copa Del Rey, that yearly competition that only really matters in the round of 16 on. But hey, at least this will be a good game to get the club back on track after this weekend's disappointing loss to FC Barcelona in the Liga.
Cristiano Ronaldo will start for los merengues tonight, as he looks to rebound from his sub-par outing last Saturday; Nuri Sahin, Hamit Altintop and Raphaël Varane will also start for José Mourinho's side, after spending last weekend's Clásico in the stands. Hopefully, this outing will serve as a ship-righter for Cristiano, who was roundly criticized after last week's debacle.
As always, be polite (those of you that choose to watch the match), and make sure you live up to the ideals of sportsmanship that we have come to expect from Real Madrid.
