In the past couple of weeks there has been a whole flurry of Twitter accounts masquerading as official accounts for Real Madrid players (no, Madridista Hulk, we're not talking about you, you're still awesome). But guess what? Alvaro Arbeloa (@aarbeloa17) and Sergio Ramos (@SergioRamos) have some company on Twitter (and yeah, I know they're not the only ones on Twitter, they're just the most fun)!
Nuri Sahin has joined up, and though 99% of his tweets are in Turkish, I still suggest you follow him for gold like this:
Hola amigos, os prometo volver a los campos lo antes posible asi como aprender castellano
("Hello my friends, I promise I'll be back on the pitch (and learn Spanish) as soon as possible")
He also had this epic first tweet (warning, contents in Turkish):
Merhaba Twitter Dünyası! Ben de artık Twitter'dayım. Zaman zaman sizlere buradan paylaşımlarda bulunacağım.Sizi bilgilendirmeye çalışacağım.
According to my completely non-existant knowledge of Turkish, and my trusty little translator, this means "Hello Twitter World! I say, my uncle Twitter. Shares from time to time we will make here. We will try to inform." I have no doubt that my translation is 100 percent accurate. [Update, 2:35 PM EST: Shockingly, "my" translation wasn't 100 percent correct. Thankfully, one of our wonderful readers, Alireza Noori, sent us an email that has a much more accurate translation: "Hello Twitter World! Now I’m on Twitter. I will make some sharing with you from here time to time. I will try to inform you." Thank you very much, Alireza!]
For complaints about my translation, please call the Google Service Hotline. If you're Nuri Sahin, and you are unhappy about my translation, please email us at managingmadrid(at)gmail(dot)com, and we'll be happy to talk to you about it.
