With this latest Spanish Supercup trophy, José Mourinho has finally won every national tournament he's fought for as a coach.
First of all, he won the three Portuguese cups in Porto FC. The Supertaça, the Liga ZON Sagres, and the Portuguese Cup.
While coaching Chelsea FC, he won the Carling Cup twice, the Community Shield in 2005, one FA Cup and two Barclays Premier League titles.
Also in his trophy case is the Italian Supercoppa, the Serie A, and the Coppa Italia from the year Inter Milan managed to win the treble.
And now, as Real Madrid's coach, he has closed the circle. He won the Copa del Rey his first year in the club, the next season he scored 100 points to win la Liga BBVA and by beating FC Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabéu, he earned Spain's last national title, the Spanish Supercup.
That's an historical resume. Congratulations to the best coach Real Madrid could ever ask for. Share your pride for Mourinho on facebook and twitter @managingmadrid.
