Real Madrid Players Speak After 7-3 Win - Bernabéu Bites 10.31.2013.

Arbeloa, Alonso, Illarramendi and Bale spoke after Real's win against Sevilla.

  • The players talked to the media after Real Madrid's impressive 7-3 win against Sevilla. Arbeloa praised Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portuguese's hat-trick. "You gotta have a little bit more respect if you have that charge", said about Blatter's comments. About how the Bernabéu whistled him during the game, Arbeloa said that he's "grateful for the ones that cheered him and also for the ones that whistled him because that means they want me to do better".
  • Gareth Bale thinks "it was a great night. I have to keep working in order to be at 100% as soon as possible", said the Welsh star. "To win this way gives us confidence, although he probably conceded too many goals", he added.
  • Xabi Alonso made his return to the Bernabéu after missing the last five months with an injury. He "felt the love and respect of the fans", and he also added that Real Madrid "is where he wants to be in this moment" when he was asked about his contract.
  • Illarramendi spoke to Real Madrid TV, and he said "the team played well, pressing high on the pitch and stealing the ball". When asked about Alonso's return, Illarra said that Alonso "is an important man who can help the team".
  • Real Madrid started preparing the match against Rayo (Saturday 20:00 CET) this Thursday morning.
