- In an interview with Cadena Cope's show "El Partido de las Doce", Cristiano Ronaldo confirmed that he is willing to stay in Real Madrid until he quits playing football. He remembered that his first days in Madrid were tough because he did not feel loved by the crowds, and that when he understood what being in Real Madrid means, a change in his attitude resulted in his tremendous connection with the fans right now. He also said that he feels that this has been, possibly, his best year since he is a professional, but he did not seem bothered about the Ballon D'Or controversy.
- Let's go with another interview, this time Carlo Ancelotti for Real Madrid TV. As he has been doing in the last few days, he supported Ronaldo in his quest for Ballon D'Or. He commented on the problems Real Madrid is having with the injuries, he regretted Khedira's loss, but he expressed his doubts about the roster's preparation, since the muscular problems of Marcelo and Coentrao could have been avoided with a better planning. Finally, he did not solve the doubts on Khedira's replacement, so we will have to wait until tomorrow.
- The members of Real Madrid roster voted yesterday for the "FIFA FIFPro World XI", which would be the world's best possible 1-4-3-3 lineup, configured by the votes of more than 50.000 football professionals. This eleven players will be made public on January 13th, in the Ballon d'Or Gala. Remember that, last year, five of our players were included in this lineup: Casillas, Marcelo, Ramos, Alonso and Ronaldo.
- Aside from football, these are days of solidarity in Real Madrid. An agreement between Fundación Real Madrid and the Spanish Food Bank will result in a distribution of 2000 tickets for next Wednesday's match against Galatasaray for those who come to Santiago Bernabéu to donate 5 kg of non-perishable food. Furthermore, Real Madrid will be awarded today with the title of "Illustrious Visitor of Lorca's Town Hall", conceeded because of Real Madrid's collaboration with Lorca after the tremendous earthquake they suffered two years ago.
