Not a lot of news in terms of Real Madrid in the day of the Final Draw for Brazil 2014 World Cup. Most of the media are concerned about this event, where we will get to know the composition of the groups of this great competition, so maybe this is why they are not paying too much attention to the teams business.
Our coach, Carlo Ancelotti, gave some hints on tomorrow's game against Olímpic de Xàtiva, in Real Madrid's debut in the Spanish King's Cup. All players, except Ronaldo and Alonso, are available for the match, and we will likely see the youngsters Nacho, Casemiro, Jesé and Morata in the starting lineup.
According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, Real Madrid has spoken to Real Sociedad to start a negotiation on Iñigo Martínez's signing for next summer. The Basque centerback was one of the most distinguished players last season, and his value is increased by his left-foot ability, which no other centerback in our team possesses.
Finally, it is worth remembering that exactly ten years ago, on December 6th, 2003, our team, trained by Carlos Queiroz, confirmed their wonderful season start by beating FC Barcelona in the Camp Nou by 1-2, with goals scored by Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo. However, as you may all remember, things ended really bad that year.
