Gareth Bale Has The Flu, Out Of The Match Against Xàtiva

Gareth Bale will not be able to make his debut in the Spanish Copa del Rey. He stayed in Madrid with flu symptoms and will try to recover for Real's match against Copenhaguen next Tuesday.

Therefore, Jesé and Di María will start on Real's wings, giving Morata a good chance to impress in the striker position.

Bale's illness should not sideline him for a long period of time, but he might wait until the game at Pamplona -against Osasuna- in order to recover properly. Get weel soon, Gareth!
