Okay, so Cristiano Ronaldo is finally in the mix to win the Ballon D'Or. So are Franck Ribéry and Lionel Messi, so no surprises thus far.
Votes will be cast from journalists, players and coaches. It seems that this could be Cristiano Ronaldo's time to win his second Ballon D'Or, as Messi's struggles with injuries and a worse form throughout the 2013 year will likely put him behind the Portuguese player for the first time in four years. Franck Ribéry won it all with FC Bayern, but he's nowhere close to those two players. And he appears to be third favourite.
Heynckes, Klopp and Sir Alex Ferguson will fight for the FIFA Ballon D'Or in the Coach category, while Neymar, Ibrahimovic and Matic could get the Best Goal of the Year Award.
The ceremony will be held on January 13th.
