Real Madrid Vs. Manchester United, UEFA Champions League 2013: Alonso Remains Questionable, Varane Could Finally Start

According to some Spanish tabloids, two of Real Madrid's key players, Pepe and Xabi Alonso, could finally miss the game against Manchester United. Neither one of them is fully recovered, so Mourinho might chose to play with two potential reserves in their respective spot.

Managing Madrid brings you the two biggest news of the day so far. According to Marca (careful there), Pepe and Xabi Alonso will miss the game against Manchester United. The Spanish tabloid reported that Mourinho realized Pepe isn't 100% ready, so he will line up Varane instead.

Xabi Alonso remains questionable after missing Spain's friendly match against Uruguay and Real Madrid's 4-1 win over Sevilla. He will be a game-time decision.
