The German player had tests on his ankle today and the possibility of a big injury was ruled out. That way, Özil should be able to feature in Real's most important game of the 2012-2013 season.

Mesut Özil left the game against Málaga in a stretcher with a probable ankle injury, but the tests revealed today that he will likely be able to feature against Atlético Madrid.
Özil is probably having his best season with Real Madrid's jersey and should be a very valuable asset for Jose Mourinho.
