Casemiro has been one of the reasons behind Castilla's brilliant second half of the season. Real Madrid's statement confirms he will be on the first team.

Even though Casemiro appears to be a good prospect, Real Madrid certainly needs more solid midfielders in the roster.
Some people thought that this move would mean that Kaká will finally return to Brazil playing for Sao Paolo. Casemiro was an important player for them and it's strange to see him leaving that easily. Still, Kaká will probably stay in Madrid if Carlo Ancelotti is named as coach.
Casemiro lacks a bit of pace but he should be able to learn from Real Madrid's midfielders and play some minutes in the future.
This is Real Madrid's second transfer of this off season after the Carvajal deal was announced.
