Laurent Blanc, former World and European Champion with France and former coach of the French National Team is the man PSG supposedly have gone back to for a solution.
The source for this information is interesting. It is BEIN FRANCE, part of the same network of owners/interests who also own PSG.
BEIN runs its affairs fairly independently, but this is as good a rumour as one can hope for under the circumstances.
Blanc is out of work, and will not mind taking a contract for one year.
Real Madrid's pursuit of Carlo Ancelotti has made life difficult for PSG, of course. They have at one time or other looked at Michael Laudrup, Fabio Capello, Roberto Mancini, Arsene Wenger, Gus Hiddink, Louis van Gaal, Rafa Benitez, Jose Mourinho, Andre Villas Boas and Laurent Blanc himself.
This explains, of course, Real Madrid's considerable delicacy and patience in dealing with this transfer. The club is no doubt aware of the position PSG is in in not only not wanting to lose their coach, but in needing a replacement for what is widely assumed to be only one year, which makes the job less attractive.
For a version of what has happened in English, here is Marca.
