'As': Real Madrid Have Interest In Jovetic

According to the Spanish tabloid, Jovetic's 22M€ price would be very appealing to Real Madrid's board. Jovetic's is set to leave Fiorentina, but he will have to find a good destination after Juventus bought Tévez and signed Fernando Llorente.

With Arsenal in the hunt for Gonzalo Higuaín and Karim Benzema's all but steady game, Real Madrid's board wanted to sign an striker. Thing is, Liverpool asked more than 45M€ for Suárez while Napoli wanted to get around 60M€ for Edinson Cavani. Those two were Real Madrid's targets, but their transfers are now ruled out for los blancos.

But according to As, Real Madrid would be interested in signing second striker Stevan Jovetic away from Fiorentina. The Montenegrin player is injury-prone and he's not that big of a big scoring threat, but he would be available for 22M€ after Juventus decided to give up on his transfer by signing Carlos Tévez.

Former AC Milan player and current Montenegro Football Association President Dejan Savicevic said the following about Stevan Jovetic:

I don't think he will go to Juventus after the Tévez signing. England? I think he might go to Spain. He should leave Fiorentina, in my opinion.
