It seems that it won't take long for Napoli to spend the money they will get for selling Edinson Cavani to PSG. Rafa Benítez wants to coach Raúl Albiol and that could happen really soon, Gazzetta says. The deal could be completed in the next few days.
Albiol joined Real Madrid in the 2009-2010 season for 18M€. He played a lot in his first season under Manuel Pellegrini, but he's been on the bench most of the time since Sergio Ramos started playing in the centerback position. If Albiol signs for Napoli, the Italian club would pay around 22M€ for him and Callejón.
Furthermore, Italian website TuttoSport reported that Higuaín could be one of Napoli's targets to replace Edinson Cavani, who will be unveiled as a PSG player this same Tuesday.
Real Madrid will now probably give Albiol's minutes to Nacho Fernández.
To get 22M€ for two bench players is never a bad move, is it?
