This game against PSG will be Real Madrid's last before Casillas, Arbeloa, Ramos, Marcelo and Jesé return to the squad. The roster will travel to the United States this Sunday, and they will have their preseason stage in UCLA's facilities, as usual.
But first, Real Madrid will have to play against new European giants Paris Saint-Germain. Ancelotti's former team has bought Marquinhos and Edinson Cavani, but Real Madrid will have to face Thiago Silva, Lucas Moura and Zlatan Ibrahimovic as well. This could be a very tough test for los blancos.
The club released the list of players that will be available for Carlo Ancelotti in Gothenburg:
Goalkeepers: Diego López, Adán and Jesús.
Defenders: Pepe, Coentrão, Carvajal, Nacho, Mateos and Casado.
Midfielders: Khedira, Özil, Kaká, Modric, Di María, Isco, Casemiro, Cheryshev and Quini.
Strikers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Morata.
So, while Kaka' and Coentrao return to the team, Illarramendi will not be able to participate as he's still recovering from his muscle strain. Expect him to play in Real Madrid's next match though.
Carlo Ancelotti announced Real Madrid's Starting XI:
Diego López, Carvajal, Pepe, Nacho, Coentrao, Khedira, Modric, Isco, Özil, Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema.
Those 11 players could lineup in a 4-2-3-1 formation or a 4-3-3, even a 4-3-2-1. That depends on where Ancelotti wants to play Isco and Özil.
