Fox Sports: Higuaín's 27M€ Transfer to Arsenal Imminent

Fox Sports' channel in South America reports that Higuaín's father and agent received Real Madrid's OK to start the negotiations between Arsenal and the player. Real Madrid would receive a 27M€ transfer fee and the player will sign for three years, according to the channel.

According to Fox Sports South America, Higuaín's 27M€ move to Arsenal could be announced really soon. The Argentinian player will finally join the Premier League after Juventus decided to sign Carlos Tévez this last week.

Jorge Higuaín -Gonzalo's agent and father- said in Fox Sports that he will "soon be able to see his son play in the Premier League". Real Madrid have finally allowed Higuaín to negotiate with Arsenal FC after the British club offered 27M€.

Fox Sports reports that Higuaín's contract with Arsenal will link them for the next three seasons. The Argentinian player would earn around 100.000£ per week, being one of the best-paid players alongside Theo Walcott and Thomas Vermaelen.

Gonzalo Higuaín's transfer should be much more expensive, since there are reports indicating that Manchester City would be willing to spend 28M€ for Sevilla's striker Álvaro Negredo. Real Madrid should've gotten a higher transfer fee for a much better striker.
