Real Madrid's veterans might be tired of playing against the L.A Galaxy, since both teams meet almost every summer during Real's preseason. This will be the first time without David Beckham, and even Landon Donovan will miss the game. But since some Real Madrid potential starters like Ramos, Varane, Alonso or Casillas are missing the game as well, it could be a fair clash between both teams. But the Galaxy don't have Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Özil, Isco or Modric, that's for sure.
Real Madrid will likely win the game, considering their decent performances against Olympique Lyonnais and PSG. It will be interesting to see whether Real Madrid improve their game or not. Özil, Benzema, Isco or Modric are fighting for a place in Ancelotti's Starting XI, but they're also getting in shape and trying to adapt to their new teammates.
Cheryshev will have another chance to prove he could be Real Madrid's back-up left back if Coentrao is involved in Gareth Bale's signing. Coentrao will miss yet another game after the club reported a minor muscle strain. He completed the team's last training session, and the whole roster didn't practice today, so the fans might be speculating on whether the club is keeping him safe to include him in what could be an imminent deal for Gareth Bale.
This is Ancelotti's list to play against the L.A Galaxy:
Goalkeepers: Diego López, Jesús and Tomás Mejías.
Defenders: Pepe, Carvajal, Nacho, Mateos and Casado.
Midfielders: Khedira, Özil, Kaká, Modric, Di María, Isco, Casemiro and Cheryshev.
Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Morata.
