Manchester United Keen On Landing Mesut Özil

The Daily Mail reports that David Moyes would be willing to invest hard on Real Madrid's Mesut Özil. According to their report, Özil's agents could've contacted Manchester United, and Real Madrid would be willing to let him go if Moyes offers 41M€.

Carlo Ancelotti has been deploying Mesut Özil on the right wing, and it seems that's not Özil's favorite position. Furthermore, the German player could have a much bigger contract in Old Trafford, and that's another reason why Özil's agents would've contacted Manchester United, according to the Daily Mail.

Özil isn't Moyes' only option. Brazilian winger Willian could join the Old Trafford-based club after Anzhi decided to put him on the market. With Isco on the roster and Ancelotti not willing to play him as a pure playmaker, this rumor might have some truth behind, especially if Real Madrid finally lands Gareth Bale for a world-record fee of more than 96M€.

Real Madrid fans appreciate Mesut Özil quite a lot, so this move could be unpopular for Florentino Pérez though.
