Arsenal Target Benzema and Di María

According to British TV station BBC, Arsène Wenger will now try to sign Karim Benzema and Ángel Di María after his bid for Higuaín was rejected.

The BBC is reporting that Arsène Wenger will try to sign Karim Benzema and Ángel Di María. The gunners haven't started their Premier League season well and they've failed to sign any player after the promising striker Yaya Sanogo. Wenger tried to make a deal for Gonzalo Higuaín but the Argentinian player went to play for Rafa Benítez's Napoli instead.

According to their report, Arsenal would make a 47M€ bid for Benzema. If that report is to be believed, it's hard to imagine Florentino Pérez refusing that offer, even though Álvaro Morata would then be Real's only pure striker. With Bale likely to sign for Real Madrid on the next few days, Ancelotti might be satisfied with his offensive line even if Benzema leaves the club. The Italian club could even deploy Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale as the two free strikers.

The report doesn't say anything special about Ángel Di María, but it is quite obvious that Real Madrid would rather sell the Argentinian player before Karim Benzema.
