- Cristiano Ronaldo and Isco are back with the team. They didn't play their second game with their national teams due to small injuries. Both players treated those injuries and they rejoined the squad this Thursday. They remain questionable as Ancelotti might want to save them for Tuesday's game against Galatasaray. Coentrao, Di María and Arbeloa worked on the gym but they should be able to perform against Villarreal if everything goes according to plan. Considering that Marcelo and Varane are also out, Ancelotti would need to deploy Carvajal and Nacho as wingbacks for the match against Villarreal if Arbeloa and Coentrao fail to recover.
- Real Madrid and Adidas unveiled the team's third kit this Thursday. In case you didn't know, Real Madrid will wear orange. Gareth Bale spoke in that press conference also.
- Punto Pelota's François Gallardo reports that Real Madrid would want to sign a striker this next winter. Falcao and Luis Suárez are two options for that spot but the club would also be keen on adding Fernando Llorente on a loan deal, according to Gallardo. François Gallardo is a curious character but the truth is he was the first man on Earth that said Gonzalo Higuaín was going to sign for Napoli on a 40M€ deal. He also said that Özil was the player that was going to leave the club if Bale signed for Real Madrid.
- Staff writer Dennis Seese helped Barça Blaugranes in writing a season preview for both teams. Check this piece out and stay tuned for the second part of this post to be posted here in your own Managing Madrid.
