Carlo Ancelotti spoke to the media before Real Madrid's match against Villarreal. It didn't take long for him to answer the press' questions, but he did explained some of his decisions for this Saturday's match (22:00 CET).
Bale will play tomorrow. I have to decide whether he will play as a starter or not, but he will play. His position will be the right wing.
Fàbio Coentrao and Marcelo will miss the match and Carlo Ancelotti will have to play without a pure left back. And Nacho Fernández will be his chosen one, as he confirmed. He could've played with Arbeloa on the left and Carvajal on the right, but he has decided to start Nacho there.
Ancelotti also confirmed that Illarramendi will start the match against Villarreal:
He's been working really well with us and he's in good condition. He will start the game.
Furthermore, Ancelotti brought the turmoil back by confirming that Casillas will start against Galatasaray. Strange decision, but it's true that Marca reported it some weeks ago:
I could play with one goalkeeper the Champions League and another one in La Liga. For the moment, Casillas will start Tuesday's match.
He also spoke about Ózil's departure:
Many people have spoken about this, and I want to do it as well. He said that he lacked the confidence, but we played three games and he started two of them. Maybe he saw he was going to have competition and he asked for a way out. The club received a good offer for him and now everybody involved is happier. We [the coaching staff] decided that it was OK for him to leave.
