In today's Bernabéu Bites we take a look at Florentino Pérez's words about Özil's departure and also Varane rejoining the squad.

  • Florentino Pérez spoke to Real Madrid's socios to share some views about how the team is performing. Real's President said "Mesut Özil wanted to leave", but he also explained that the Spanish club paid Gareth Bale's transfer fee without having to get a credit from any bank to reject Piqué's dumb accusations about Bankia and Real Madrid. We'd like to remind Piqué that Barcelonahas a sponsorship deal with TV3, a public TV station.

  • Varane and Fàbio Coentrao rejoined the squad yesterday. Coentrao spent Thursday working on the gym. Ramos and Modric joined him but they should both be available against Getafe.

  • José Luis Sánchez reported that Gareth Bale will start the match against Getafe.

  • Iker Casillas has no injury. The Spanish goalkeeper had to leave the game against Galatasaray but should be ready to play against Copenhaguen.

  • Ramos and Arbeloa took Illarra, Morata, Mejías, Carvajal and Nacho to have lunch
