The movements of Antonio Adán and Denis Cheryshev will receive nowhere near the interest as some of the heavy-hitters on transfer deadline day. But nonetheless, they are officially out. Adán has terminated his contractt in the midst of the unavoidable duel happening above him between Iker Casillas and Diego López. Cheryshev is departing on a one-year loan move to Sevilla.
Both players were absolute bottom-of-the-pecking-order players in their time with Real Madrid. Unfortunately for Antonio Adán, he'll likely be remembered most for being a pawn in the Mou-Casillas tug of war. Cheryshev was a half-hearted attempt to find a somewhat competent left back while Fábio Coentrão was still considering leaving in the offseason. He has a chance to prove his future worth now in Seville, though I suspect it will definitely not be from a left back position. Nonetheless, we wish both players the best in their future endeavors.
