The Welsh player couldn't start the match because of small problems on his left thigh. Bale was going to make his Bernabéu debut after playing at El Madrigal and Ali Sami Yen.
Bale will have to wait and get some tests on his thigh to see if he will be able to feature against Atlético de Madrid or not. The Welsh player struggled to recover from those problems since he met the Welsh National Team the day after signing for Real Madrid.
