It has finally happened. Cristiano Ronaldo is the winner of the 2013 FIFA Ballon D'Or after scoring 69 goals throughout the year. It was an expected outcome and some could think that Ronaldo knew he was the winner, since Real Madrid TV broadcast the ceremony live.

Cristiano Ronaldo beat Franck Ribéry and Lionel Messi and received the award speechless.

Although this is not a major trophy for Real Madrid, to have such a special player on the team's roster should fill the fans with a lot of pride. Cristiano Ronaldo finally has the recognition he deserves after five outstanding years with Real Madrid.
