The Spanish media always say that Real Madrid overpaid for Fàbio Coentrao when the club decided to spend 30M€ on the Portuguese leftback. Now, Florentino Pérez and the board are apparently trying to sign promising defender Alberto Moreno for that same amount to replace Coentrao next summer. And you will likely don't hear the same kind of complaints.
One way or another, the local press in Sevilla and also 'Diario As' are speculating with a potential 30M€ move for the Andalusian player. He definitely looks like an interesting prospect, but that 30M€-pricetag should be lowered quite a bit.
Moreno is a good, intense player whose game could be compared to Carvajal's. Therefore, Real Madrid would have an offensive fullback with Marcelo and a much-more physical player if they sign Alberto Moreno away from the Andalusian team.
