Ancelotti: "The Game Against Osasuna Is Very Important"

The King's Cup is back tomorrow for Real Madrid, with our game against Osasuna in the Round of 16. Carlo Ancelotti spoke to the media about this match and the breaking news of our team.

As our coach expressed in this morning's press conference, beating Osasuna at home will be crucial for us to have a good performance in this year's King's Cup: "We need to get a good advantage at our stadium in order to have a confortable game at their home, where we suffered recently in La Liga". Therefore, no concessions will be made, and so our only player missing will be Xabi Alonso, who is suffering due to his eardrum perforation and will not take any risks.

The controversy regarding Di María is closed, according to our coach: "He has spoken, has expressed his apologies and is focused on doing his best for the team. He will not be in the lineup tomorrow because Gareth Bale is fresher, but I am sure he is willing to help during the whole season".

Our coach was also asked if some players might be bought or sold in the transfer period, but he refused this possibility: "Absolutely not. We are just hoping Varane and Coentrao to recover soon enough to be our winter signings".

Finally, Ancelotti praised Ronaldo and Modric and relieved some pressure from Isco, who is not being brilliant lately: "He should not worry about that. It is difficult for a player with his talent to keep at a high level continuously. He is young, and this is his first season in a big club like Real Madrid, and he is important to us".
