Cristiano Ronaldo denies offensive comments towards Leo Messi

The Portuguese astro refuted Guillem Balagué's report.

Earlier today, reports from England suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo refers to Leo Messi as a motherf******. Well, the Portuguese player announced he will take legal actions against Guillem Balagué, who wrote that report in the Daily Telegraph.

It's good to see Cristiano Ronaldo taking action against these reports. He's often described as disrespectful, as for once it's encouraging to read that Real Madrid's best player will not hear anything like that. Catalan newspaper Sport quoted Balagué's report as well as an effort to give Cristiano Ronaldo some bad reputation too, but the blame on this story lies on Guillem Balagué and his pro-Messi campaign. Unsurprisingly, Balagué is the author of Messi's biography, so he surely is biased here. While Ronaldo and Messi are certainly not friends, one has to believe Ronaldo's own words about the utmost respect he has for his football peers. Whether this lawsuit will be successful or not remains to be seen.
