Khedira and Illarramendi questionable against Liverpool

Both midfielders were absent from Real Madrid's training session this Monday with small, non-serious injuries.

If Ancelotti was thinking about making some rotations in his midfield for Real Madrid's match against Liverpool, (Tuesday, 20:45 CET), he might have to re-think and start all Kroos, Modric and Isco again, as Sami Khedira and Asier Illarramendi missed Real Madrid's training session with small injuries.

Both Khedira and Illarramendi played the entire Copa del Rey game against Cornellà, and they also featured in Real Madrid's 0-4 win at Granada, but it seems that they haven't recovered entirely well after those two efforts. Still, Carlo Ancelotti will probably aim to clinch the Group's first place with a win against Brendan Rodgers' side, so he might wait until Rayo Vallecano's visit to the Santiago Bernabéu to rotate his squad and give his starters some more rest.
