Yesterday, Raúl González Blanco, the legendary Real Madrid #7, was presented as a new player for New York Cosmos, twenty years after having made his debut with Los Blancos in La Romareda. Raúl, aged 37, expressed his will to come back to Spain some day, and to work for Real Madrid at some point, but also made clear that, right now, he is interested in extending his career a few more years.

In order to conmemorate the twentieth anniversary of his debut with the white T-Shirt, Canal Plus produced a beautiful documentary in which they revisited the highlights in Raúl's career: his first steps at a club in the suburb he lived, his early stage in Atlético de Madrid's youth squad, his transfer to Real Madrid's Fábrica and his golden years in white. Very important people in Raúl's career, like Jorge Valdano, Ángel Cappa or Vicente del Bosque, share their views on the #7, and some of his best remembered plays are shown.

Although it is in Spanish, I am quite sure you will enjoy it. Get some pop-corn, have fun and share your opinions later!
