Real Madrid vs Cruz Azul, FIFA Club World Cup: Halftime Report

Real Madrid played a sloppy first half against Cruz Azul. In fact, the game could very well be all tied up 2-2. Ramos and Benzema put Madrid ahead and then the Mexican team had a chance to make it 2-1 from the penalty spot, but Casillas saved his second penalty in four days to preserve his team's lead.

Real Madrid did not kick the game off really well, but Ramos scored with a header as he is used to do whenever his team competes in an important match.

Shortly after, Dani Carvajal completed a brilliant play and passed the ball to Benzema, who just had to push it inside Cruz Azul's goal to make it 2-0.

And then, Iker Casillas took over the match and saved from the spot.

Ancelotti won't be happy with his team's performance, but they're still leading 2-0 and have the ticket to the Final in hand. They just have to take care of business in this second half.
