Real Madrid will face AC Milan this Tuesday in a badly-timed friendly match sponsored by Fly Emirates. Carlo Ancelotti spoke today to assess his team's condition.

We're going to be ready for this tough January that we got ahead. This match will be used as a preparation. The players that traveled will play, we're going to enjoy Dubai, the good weather and play a good match. We know we're doing well, we've accomplished something that Real Madrid had not done throughout history and we're happy for that, but meanwhile we know that what's coming is tough, but the team is ready.

Ramos and Marcelo stayed in Madrid recovering from their minor injuries. This match could be a good chance to give Jesé Rodríguez useful minutes. Other than that, Carlo Ancelotti spoke about the controversy surrounding Sami Khedira's contract situation.

Khedira is a Real Madrid player and I treat him that way. I don't know anything about rumors, until the end of his contract he's just one more player, I have no doubts about him.

Ancelotti was also asked about Torres' return to Atlético.

It is exciting. I wish him all the best. He's back home and he will be able to use this as extra motivation.
