The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has decided not to revoke Isco's second yellow card during the match against Málaga, so Real Madrid's playmaker will not be able to feature when Real Madrid host Celta de Vigo this weekend. You can find RFEF's statement here.
This is yet another terrible example of how badly the committee takes care of things. Isco clearly touched the ball, and even though the referee's decision did not affect the game's outcome -- luckily enough for Real Madrid --, Ancelotti will still have to find a replacement.
Isco's second yellow. WOW. Just wow. https://t.co/I9c2Tf6Uru— Managing Madrid (@managingmadrid) November 29, 2014
The match against Celta should not be a problem, as Asier Illarramendi will likely be ready enough to replace Isco at the Santiago Bernabéu.
To make things worse, Messi's yellow card after being hit with a coin -- shown because he was "wasting time" -- stands as well, which means that is almost useless to challenge these yellow cards.
