Iker Casillas: A He was barely required to do anything but he still delivered one of his ridiculous signature saves to deny Draxler. In the second half, he also denied Boateng on a long shot. Unfortunately, a sick goal by Huntelaar kept him from getting another clean sheet.
Dani Carvajal: B+ Dani lost sight of Draxler on Schalke's only chance of the first half but overall he was very solid. He went on to attack a couple times too.
Pepe: A- He solved everything thrown at him. It wasn't much, but when he needed to do something, he didn't have a problem. Pepe's only struggle came on a deflected cross by Farfán.
Sergio Ramos: A- Good game by Ramos. Defensively, he didn't have a lot of problems and was even close to score on corner kick. Like Pepe, Farfán's deflected cross put him in a tough spot.
Marcelo: B He was good when he attacked but struggled a bit on defense. Farfán beat him a few times, including the play that nearly meant the tie for Schalke. Nothing terrible but he needs to be more solid back there.
Xabi Alonso: A- Once again, he's the one keeping order around. His role on defense definitely helped on keeping things easy for the team. Having him and Modric looks unfair at times.
Luka Modric: A- Another great performance by Modric. He makes things easier for everybody around, whether it's on defense or finding chances for his attackers.
Ángel di María: A The Argentine was all over the place and his defensive job was remarkable, especially helping any player having a difficult matchup. He looks tireless and contributes on both defense and offence.
Gareth Bale: A Much like the rest of the BBC, he was unstoppable. He set up the first goal and then scored twice. His change of pace was tremendous tonight. Really good game by Bale.
Cristiano Ronaldo: A+ The Portuguese star participated on the first goal and was close to getting Real Madrid's third a couple times but couldn't convert. In the second half, the Ballon D'Or finally scored his own golazo after humiliating Matip. It wasn't enough though as he also assisted Benzema again on the fourth goal and then got the 6-0. What a beast.
Karim Benzema: A+ Man of the match. The French made it 1-0 and a few minutes later assisted Bale on the 2-0 after recovering the ball (displaying great technique) on Schalke's territory. Benzema wasn't done yet and scored the team's fourth goal and added a second assist to his numbers on the team's sixth goal. Other than those stats, he's brilliant even without the ball.
Carlo Ancelotti: A His starting lineup was spot on and the team never dropped the intensity. It was simply a dominating performance. Maybe Carletto should've made substitutions earlier but that's a minor issue.
----
Isco: B+ He recovered the ball that became the 6-0 and tried to participate a lot more. Good job by him.
Asier Illarramendi: B The game was already over when he went in but he did his job when the ball was close to him.
Jesé: - Not enough time for him to show his talent.
